From Highway One, South
(Driving time from Los Gatos: about 45 minutes)·

After getting onto Highway One from Highway 17, go south towards Watsonville.  After about ten minutes of driving, you will see the exit for Rio Del Mar in Aptos.  Our exit is the next one after that, Freedom Blvd.·

Exit the freeway, come to a Stop, and turn left.  Go 5 miles on Freedom Blvd., and you will come to a 3-way Stop sign.  Turn left onto Corralitos Road.

Go 2 miles on Corralitos Road, until you come to a 4-way Stop sign.  On your left will be the Corralitos Market.  We are almost exactly 5 miles from there.

At the market, turn right onto Browns Valley Road.  You will go over a little bridge at a Stop sign.  Turn left.  It will stay Browns Valley Road for about 3.5 miles.

The road then narrows and becomes Hazel Dell Road. You will be surrounded by redwoods.  Drive up Hazel Dell for about 1.5 miles and we are at 550 Hazel Dell Road, on the right, just after Sweetwood Way.

From Highway One North from the Monterey Peninsula
(Driving time from Monterey: about 45 minutes)

After Highway One becomes 4 lanes again north of Moss Landing, exit the freeway at Green Valley Road in Watsonville.

After you get off the freeway, turn right onto Green Valley Road, and drive through Watsonville, and up into the hills.  This is about 12 miles.  After you get out of the urban part of Watsonville, it becomes very picturesque, with farms, orchards, horses and vineyards.  The last mile or so is deep in the redwoods.

Green Valley Road will dead end at Hazel Dell Road at a tee intersection.  Turn left onto Hazel Dell Road.

Drive about 2 miles.  You will see a white horse fence on your left and just after that will be 550 Hazel Dell Road.  Turn left for the winery.

From Highway 101 South, out of San Jose
(Driving time from San Jose: about 1 hour)

Take the Morgan Hill exit of Tennant Road.  Turn right off the freeway.  (Morgan Hill is south of San Jose, and north of Gilroy.)

Go up 3 lights to the main stoplight intersection of Monterey Road.  Turn left onto Monterey Road.

Go about ½ mile to Watsonville Road, where there is a traffic light.   Turn right.  Drive on Watsonville Road for several miles, about 10-15 minutes. You will wind through horse and vineyard country.

Watsonville Road will dead end at a tee intersection Stop sign.  Turn right onto Highway 152, Hecker Pass.

Go up 152 for several miles.  You will wind up the Hecker Pass first surrounded by vineyards, then redwoods.  After a sign that tells you to slow way down, due to a curve ahead, turn on your right hand signal.·       

Turn right into Mt. Madonna County Park.  Drive through the park, which will take about 10 minutes.  You will come to a 4-way Stop sign.  Make a very hard left onto Mt. Madonna Road.  This is a windy, narrow road, but well worth it for the redwoods, meadows, and then the spectacular views of the Pajaro Valley, and the ocean beyond. ·       

Drive down Mt. Madonna Road for about 10 minutes, and you will come to another Stop sign.  This is Hazel Dell Road.  Turn right.

Drive up Hazel Dell Road for about 3 miles.  You will see a white horse fence on your left and just after that will be 550 Hazel Dell Road.  Turn left for the winery.
